I-Tech Club

I-Tech Club

ACMS I-Tech club participants will work on hands-on building projects that use a variety of tools and will challenge your problem solving abilities. Students who join ACMS I-Tech club will become members in Skills USA, and will work on projects that they will take to the Skills USA Middle School Conference, which will probably be early December.

The emphasis of the I-Tech Club/Skills USA projects are related to Industrial Technology, however students can also pursue interests related to other academic subjects and career interests.

I-Tech Club projects may be similar, but are NOT the same as class projects. If you like a challenge, you’ll love I-Tech Club projects!

Projects Include:

If you have skills or interests in other areas, you may also prepare a Job Skills Demonstration, PowerPoint Presentation, Prepared Speech, or compete in Applied Math or Quiz Bowl.

Most I-Tech club meetings are in 1st semester on Mondays from 3:20 to 4:20. (Other times may be arranged with Mr. Gatewood as needed to have projects ready for the Skills USA Conference.)

*Note: I-Tech Club will have a $25 fee which covers both membership in the Skills USA organization as well as materials for building projects.
